Blog describing part of my life. Escape into fantasy and craft. Where medeival meets magic. I have started to make costumes soon after I started to play Fools and Heroes which is nation wide system and costs not a lot. These costumes are great not only for playing, but also for any theme parties, balls etc. I am happy to accept custom orders as well.

Monk
I have spent the day sewing this grey monk's robe.
The bottom, sleeves and neck are trimmed with a plain dark grey cotton.
And here is the end effect when added hood with a cowl.
As you can see, the model this time, is the correct size for the garment :-)
The robe was intended to be the "church" monk type. However the world in the system I play is only roughly based on DND. You'd see many aspects similar also to Tolkien's ideas or GW world. Mix, match and use your own imagination :-). This one is actually, supposed to be a Templar squire - repentant. The full outfit will have a white tabbard on top of it as well. In Fools and Heroes world Templars are all members of the church of God of Justice.
Is he supposed to be a "church" monk, or a "DND" monk? I'm assuming it's the "church" one, but not everyone pictures DND monks the same.
